5. From the Port Security Limited-Mode menu, type M if you wish to

select a module other than the one currently displayed.

The prompt message is displayed:

Select Module ID: [1 to 8] ->

6. Enter the ID of the module you wish to select, and press the Enter key.

7. From the Port Security Limited-Mode menu, type 2 to select Set MAC

Threshold.

The following prompt is displayed:

Select Port Group ID [1 to 5] ->

8. Enter the port group number where you wish to specify a new MAC

address limit.

The following prompt is displayed:

Enter the MAC threshold value -> [1 to 1024] ->

9. Enter the maximum number of dynamic MAC addresses you wish the

port to be able to learn and press the Enter key. The range is 1 to 1024

addresses. The default is 100.

10. Repeat this procedure starting with Step 4 to specify MAC address

limits on other port groups.

11. Type 1 to select Display MAC Threshold.

The current MAC address limits for all ports are displayed.
