AT-MCF2000M Management Module Installation Guide

Here are some of the management functions you can

perform with the module and the AT-S97 Management

Software:

 Configure the operating parameters of the twisted pair

ports in the media converter channels:

– Auto-Negotiation

– Speed

– Duplex mode

– MDI/MDI-X configuration

 Set the duplex mode of the fiber optic ports.

 Select the operating mode of a media converter

channel:

– MissingLink

™

– Smart MissingLink

– Link Test

 Establish rate limits for the ingress and egress packets

on the ports of the media converter channels.

 Reset media converter modules.

 View event messages.

 Send event messages to a syslog server.

 Manage up to sixty-four media converter modules from

one management module.

 Create additional manager accounts.

 Download new versions of the management software to

the management and media converter modules.
