13. Power ON the end-nodes.

Note

End-nodes connected to the media converter must operate with

the same duplex mode (either both full-duplex or both half-duplex

mode.)

14. Check that the LK LEDs on both ports are green. If the LEDs are OFF,

refer to Troubleshooting on page 99.

15. If the link test is successful, set the ML/LT button to the MissingLink

(ML) position. The ML LED should be green.

Caution

AT-PB1000 Series Media Converters will not pass network traffic

when a link test is being performed, thus possibly disrupting

network operation. Only when the LT/ML button or switch is in the

ML position will the media converter pass network traffic.

The PowerBlade module is now ready for use. Repeat this procedure to

install additional PowerBlade Media Converters.
